PTA & SLT
The School Leadership Team (SLT) is a DOE mandated advisory body in which parents, teachers and the principal meet to offer input that allows the principal to make consensus-informed decisions on matters including curriculum, school priorities and budget allocation.
The SLT develops and reviews the school’s Comprehensive Education Plan that sets annual goals for the school in all areas and focuses on developing strategies for improvement. The SLT includes the principal, the PTA president, and the UFT representative, parents and staff members in balanced numbers.
Parents interested in participating in SLT meetings can contact the Parent Coordinator, Mr. Rotgans, at extension 3731.
Parents are an important part of their student’s education. Parents are encouraged to take part in the Parent Teacher Association monthly meetings. Please not based on NYC DOE Guidelines and COVID 19, these meetings may be held virtually. The meetings for the 2020-20201 school year are as follows:
